Jazmin started tutoring alongside her studies in 2011, helping hundreds of students on a one-to-one basis for over 15 years. J Hodges Tuition was created and became Jazmin's full time profession in January 2020. 

Jazmin was a secondary school English teacher, responsible for hundreds of students per year. Classes of 30 students with varying abilities demanded deep knowledge of the national curriculum, strong behaviour management skills and excellent confidence in teaching English. 

Jazmin taught in a remote area in the northern province of mainland Fiji. Jazmin was responsible for multiple classes of Fijian students aged 4 to 11, teaching geography, history and English. The school provided rich insight into the way English is taught in different parts of the world. 

Jazmin taught a family privately as a live-in teacher at their home in Monaco. Jazmin taught the young students a range of English skills and strengthened academic, study and social skills alongside delivering the international KS1-2 English curriculum.
